Tip 1: Always rinse the rice in a bowl twice till the water looks clear before cooking for a better taste
Tip 2: Cool the rice once cooked in the fridge or cook earlier to prevent sticky rice.
Blend the tomato and onion separately and set aside
Dice chicken or beef into cubes and cook with salt and 1/4 of the blended onion.
Note: When the chicken/beef cooks, save the stock for the rice and brown the chicken/beef in an oven or air fryer.
While the chicken/beef cooks, put the blended tomato, onion, pure tomato, oil, andBailan African Hot Chicken Spice, and 1/2 cup of water into a pot and cook on medium heat for 15minutes till the water dries out, and the tomato begins to sizzle in the oil.
Pour in chicken/beef stock from cooked meat, carrots, and peas. Cook for 5mins
Add in the cool cooked rice. Mix well, so all white rice is covered in delicious tomato sauce
Add the browned chicken/beef, salt, and chili flakes as needed for taste.
