Shredded Chicken


  • 1.5lbs of boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 2 tbsp Bailan Hot African Chicken Spice
  • 1/2 medium onions
  • 1 can of low sodium tomatoes
  • 1/2 cups of water
  • 1 tbsp of vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste

How to

  • Put chicken, Bailan Hot African Chicken Spice, salt, and water in a pot and cook till the chicken is cooked through
  • When the chicken is ready, take out of broth and shred with two forks
  • **Tip: Cook the tomatoes while the chicken is cooking to save time.
  • Chop onions and saute in oil for 3mins
  • Add tomatoes and cook on medium heat till it’s juices dry up and it begins to fry in the oil
  • Pour chicken broth into the tomatoes and add the shredded chicken
  • Let it simmer for 5minutes on low-medium heat
  • Once done, serve hot and enjoy with potatoes
