Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp Bailan Spice Ethiopian Berbere
- 10oz bag of frozen lima beans, thawed
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 medium tomato, finely chopped
- 1 cup of water
How To
- Warm the oil in a medium saucepan and add the onion, garlic, and cook for about 3 minutes
- Stir in the Bailan Spice Ethiopian Berbere and salt and cook for about 1 minute
- Add the lima beans, tomato, and water. Stir well to combine
- Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 10 minutes
- Turn off the heat, stir in the lemon juice, and serve hot
